i was leveling up my repair by standing in fire/ against a cactus, when the server randomly decided to restart, I wasn't dead before it restarted, but when i logged back on, I was, and subsequently all my stuff burned in lava. The only thing that matters was my 5-6 stacks of diamond, as i just bought a stack and had them in my inventory. If this counts as my own fault, no worries, just thought id give this whole thread business a try.
